Hi everyone. Welcome to my blog. My name is Jennifer Levin. I’m new here in the blogging world. Well, not so new really. There are several blogs I’ve been following that I truly enjoy, many that I hold in high esteem because of the heart and soul each author has put forth. There are a couple of blogs I check in with every morning as I have my coffee. They kind of get my day going. They inspire me. I guess I’m not so new, but definitely new at hosting my own blog.

So what kinds of things do I love? What kinds of things might I be talking about here?
First of all, I celebrate friendship. I love the camaraderie that women have. I love that we can lift each other and support one another. I love that we learn from one another and confide some of our deepest thoughts with one another. I love that we need each other because life isn’t the same without the friendship and sisterhood of women. I love my friends, those that live near and far, and I know you love yours, too.

I love being crafty, creating things that didn’t exist before my hands went to work. I enjoy scrapbooking/memory keeping and, recently, painting. I LOVE fabric and the idea of sewing. I’ve always dreamed of making a hand-stitched quilt. Maybe someday I’ll get to those things.
I hate flying! That fear doesn’t go very well with my love of traveling. It doesn’t stop me, but it sure puts a few potholes in my path. When I’m traveling you can bet that I’m searching for the perfect cupcake. That's another thing that makes me most happy...SWEETS! Cupcakes and cake to be specific.

There’s one last thing I must tell you about that I love beyond anything else! That is my family! I have three wonderful children, Lauren (10), Adam (8) and Mara (6), and the most awesome, supportive husband on the planet! His name is Ross. Though it’s not my intention to always talk about them, it’s because of them that I’ve learned what I have about myself.

Becoming a mother was a HUGE adjustment for me, and after the first several years of being a mom and a wife, I lost track of who I was. I forgot what I was like as an individual in this world. The last couple of years I’ve been working hard to get to know myself again, and it’s been exciting.
I've discovered it's all the things I love and enjoy that help to keep my soul alive. I’m following my dreams, setting goals, and stretching myself to the outer limits of my comfort zone. I’m discovering day by day new things that make my soul happy. I sincerely hope you are looking for things every day that make your soul happy, too.
During our time together here, I hope to be inspiring and relatable and to offer you something to think about from time to time. But most of all I hope that by sharing what’s going on with me, I’ll learn something about you. I look forward to lots of conversation, connection, and learning. For me, that’s what a big chunk of life is about. I hope you’ll pull up a chair, pour a cup of coffee, and stay a while. I think we have a lot to talk about.
Warmly,
Jennifer
